Cross-border trade of second-hand goods — Part 2: Data exchange ISO/PWI 20245-2

Scope

This document describes the minimum information set and exchange methods required to meet the general requirements specified in Part 1, including:

a conceptual data model defining the essential information necessary to meet the requirements outlined in Part 1;
data elements and their mapping relationships with existing data models;
applicable methods and technologies for data exchange;
data exchange processes and the roles of the various participants involved.

This document is applicable to second-hand goods that are shipped across at least one international border and for which the intended end user is a consumer. This document does not apply to goods that are remanufactured or rebuilt.
