Scope

This test method may be used for the determination of cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) in oral rinses
containing cetylpyridinium chloride as an active ingredient for oral care. If this method is used, the
procedure given shall be followed. Full requirements and test methods for oral rinses are located in ISO
16408.
