Scope

This part of the standard specifies requirements for plastic stakes used for surveying control points and miscellaneous boundary markers to be placed into ground. It specifies the most important requirements for dimension, strength, heat resistance and environmental safety.
The standard includes recycled plastic as a possible material for plastic stakes.
