Scope

This document provides guidelines and specifies requirements for estimating the properties, space adaptability and reliability of fiber optics devices based on general test principles, test items, test methods, and test precautions.

This document can be applied to the testing of fiber optics used in optical fiber sensing, optical fiber communication and other optoelectronic systems for space applications.
