Scope

This document specifies procedures for the preparation of compact face images that are suitable for
storage on 2D barcodes for use in biometric authentication.

In addition, this document guides the photography of subjects whose images will be stored in compact
form.

The document includes informative text on biometric accuracy available from such photographs.
