Scope

This document provides guidelines for addressing sustainability related to sports, including
facilities, activities, and equipment, by using the benefit and risk assessment methods as
specified in ISO 4980.
The users of this document include manufacturers, installers, operators, and owners of sports facilities and equipment when supplying facilities or equipment, preparing, or carrying out sport activities, irrespective of size or location.
