This document specifies calibration and performance evaluation test methods for computerized tongue image analysis systems (CTIS). It is not intended to compare different systems, develop new hardware/software, or define diagnostic criteria.
This document applies only to CTIS that conform with ISO 20498-1.
This document does not specify pass or fail criteria, nor does it address safety requirements for clinical practice.
