Scope

This Pre-Standard provides a comprehensive set of measurements, measurement techniques, tools and common terminology to characterize the performance attributes of laser cutting machines applied to the cutting of metals. The measurement techniques and tools can also be used for recording the characteristics of laser cutting machines and/or tracking the performance of the laser cutting machine over a period of time.
