Scope

This document describes test methods and procedures for evaluation of load carrying capacity of diamond-like carbon films under sliding and high contact stress conditions. The ball-on-disc reciprocating method in which the sliding contact accompanying with load increasing is applied to the evaluation in an atmospheric dry environment.
