Standardizes submerged arc furnace test conditions and methods to determine their main parameters and technical
characteristics. Applies to industrial three-phase submerged arc furnaces with rated power level of 1 000 kVA or more. Also applies to furnaces having one or more electrodes, other than three-phase furnaces.
