Scope

This standard gives requirements for two types of non-heat-shrinkable sleeving extruded from silicone elastomer and distinguished principally by volatile content - These sleevings are normally available in bore sizes up to 25 mm and in a range of wall thicknesses between 0.1 mm and 2.0 mm - National standards may select a restricted list of preferred combinations of bore diameter and wall thickness - These sleevings are normally available in the following opaque colours: black - blue - brown - grey - green - orange - pink - red - violet - white - yellow and green/yellow - It is also available in colourless translucent form
