This recommendation applies to ordinary incandescent lamps for general ligting purposes having: - a nominal life of 1 000 hours - a rated wattage of 25 ... 1500 watts, inclusive - a rated voltage of 100 ... 250 volts, inclusive - bulbs clear or internally frosted - cpas, normal bayonet or Edison screw, as set out in Appendix A (For those countries where there is an interest in lamps of 2500 hours life, attention is drawn to IEC Publication 64A, Supplement to IEC Publication 64: Tungsten Filament Lamps for General Service)
