This document is applicable to iron (III) sulfate solid used for treatment of water intended for human consumption. It describes the characteristics of iron (III) sulfate solid and specifies the requirements and the corresponding analytical methods for iron (III) sulfate solid and gives information on its use in water treatment. It also specifies the rules relating to safe handling (normative Annex B) and describes the use of iron (III) sulfate solid (informative Annex A).
