Scope

This document describes a test method for measuring the temperature of asphalt mixtures after mixing and during storage, transportation and laying. This document includes the contact temperature-measuring device and the non-contact temperature-measuring device (infrared-thermometer). In cases of dispute, the reference method uses the contact temperature-measuring device.
