Scope

This functional profile describes communication between message handling systems based on MTA to MTA interworking, using the 1988 CCITT X.400 series of Recommendations and ISO/IEC 10021 MOTIS standards. The relationship of this functional profile to ENV 41201 and ENV 41202, which refer to the 1984 versions of the Recommendations and draft standards, is addressed.
