Scope

This amendment has been produced to ensure that 1984 MHS implementations will beable to interwork with 1988 implementations and to align with both the "X.400 Implementor's Guide" (version 6 referring to the CCITT read book) and with common practice. This amendment is applicable to all implementations of ENV 41201:1988. It is not planed to progress ENV 41201 to EN status as MHS-84 is now considered obsolescent.
