Scope

This European Prestandard defines the harmonisation to the dimensional tolerances of the ID-1 cards and ID-00, ID-000 cards. It also defines different classes of the IC cards in the area of temperatures and power supply voltage derived from EN 27810, EN 27816-1:1989 and EN 27816-3:1992 to address identified specific sectorial environmental conditions.
