The present standard applies to contactor relays and primarily to those having from 4 to 10 contacts, of which the rated working voltage does not exceed 380V (415V) alternating current, and the terminals of which each permit the connection of either one or two flexible conductors of 1.5 mm2 maximum cross section or of a single flexible conductor of 2.5 mm2 maximum cross section It is recommended that these indicated dimensions should also be used for auxiliary contactors having characteristics which differ from those given above
