Scope

This European Standard specifies the size 4 plug for rack and panel applications used in the family of modular rectangular electrical and optical connector with rectangular inserts. The receptacle corresponding to this plug is defined in EN 4644-142.
This size 4 plug connector can also be mated with two size 2 receptacle connectors.
