Scope

This standard specifies the characteristics of spherical plain bearings in corrosion resisting steel, with self-lubricating liner, wide series, for elevated loads at ambient temperature. They are intended for use in fixed or moving parts of the aircraft structure and control mechanisms. They shall be used in the temperature range -55°C to 163°C.
