Scope

This specification provides the definition of the message Tender (CONTEN) to be used in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) between partners involved in Administration, Commerce and Transport. Following the receipt of an invitation to tender (ITT), a Main Contractor or subcontractor will submit a tender which is a commercial offer to execute the project work defined in the Bill of Quantities (BoQ) within the ITT.
