Scope

This European Standard specifies the definitions and the terminology of materials, tools and working methods used for fixing ceramic tiles. This standard is valid for terms concerning the tests for ceramic tile adhesives. This European Standard applies to all ceramic tile adhesives for internal and external tile installations on walls and floors. This European Standard does not contain performance requirements or recommendations for the design and installation of ceramic tiles.
