Scope

The scope of this document is to provide the structure and the content of scheduling processes in the supply chain and the requirements for the information exchanged in those processes.

The BRS document of the cross industry scheduling process allows the selection of one of the specified business processes. It is up to each industry to specify extensions for industry specific business information.
The class diagrams of the schedule transactions are developed in such a way that they specify the cross industry reusable business information entities.
The scheduling process supports various demand and supply modes, such as Kanban, Synchronised, MRP or VMI.
