Scope

The XFSDepository Control provides the functionality required for the operation of an envelope
depository. The envelope depository may also have the capability of dispensing envelopes.
The Envelope Depository accepts media deposited in envelopes. The Envelope Depository can accept
media, print on this media and deposit the media into a holding container or bin. Some envelope
depositories offer the capability of dispensing an envelope to the consumer at the start of the deposit
transaction. This may involve either the same entry/exit slot or separate entry/exit slots.
The envelope may be retracted if it is not taken by the consumer. If there is a common entry/exit slot the
envelope will be retracted into the depository container otherwise the envelope will be retracted into the
dispenser container.
