Household electric ovens and ranges - Method for measuring the energy consumption CLC/prTS 50709

Scope

This document specifies a method for measuring the energy consumption of electric cooking ranges and ovens. It provides information on the technical content of standardization work on the further development of the method for measuring energy consumption for ovens and ranges, which is specified in EN 60350-1, clause 7.4.
The method is applicable to heating function as defined in 3.1. It is not applicable to microwave combination function and to steam function and hot steam function.
This document does not cover small cavity ovens, ovens without adjustable temperature control and ovens with reciprocating trays and turntables.
