Energy performance of buildings - Ways of expressing energy performance of buildings CEN/TC 89 / WG 4 N226

Scope

In order to facilitate the application of the Building Energy Performance Directive, and to harmonise the ways used in Europe to give energy certificates to buildings, this standard will define the information required in a building energy certificate (including definition of building areas in relation to energy use), and propose a possible structure with different options. It will be based on the items on Ways of expressing energy performance of buildings, on Overall energy use, primary energy and CO2 emissions, and on Application to existing buildings.
