Ways of expressing thermal requirements for buildings CEN/TC 89 N 477

Scope

This standard gives five options for expressing thermal requirements in buildings: 1. Thermal characteristics of building materials; 2. Thermal characteristics of the building components; 3. Thermal characteristics of the building envelope; 4. Heat requirement of building; 5. Energy requirement of the building for heating. For each of these ways, one or several characteristics are defined, together with their determination methods. The requirements themselves are not within the scope of this standard.
