Health Informatics - System of semantic links in medicine

Scope

To produce a structure for a classification of semantic links used in the medical domain. The structure will be used to organise available sets of semantic links. For each category of semantic links examples of concepts will b be specified that can be linked. For each category of semantic links characteristics will be identified (including their inverse link), that will be used to produce the structure. For each category a list of commonly used links is produced. Rules for developers to produce their own semantic links, harmonised with the previous set, will be provided.
