Scope

This part of EN (155 WI 014) specifies the general aspects of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) piping systems in the field of rainwater downpipes. In conjunction with one of the parts 2 to 7 of EN (155 WI 014) it applies to pipes, fittings in PVC-U and accessories as well as the connection references of, and method of jointing to, components of other plastics and non-plastics materials to be used for rainwater downpipe systems and connections to the gutter and drainage system.
