Mounting and fixing in reaction to fire tests under the CPD CEN/TC 127 N 2156

Scope

This guidance document is intended to provide basic rules, which are generally valid for the mounting and fixing of construction products in the reaction to fire test standards EN 13823, EN ISO 9239-1 and EN ISO 11925-2 which are referred to in the classification standard EN 13501-1. The mounting and fixing rules are intended to ensure that the reaction to fire test results in these tests are representative of the product behaviour in one or more end-use applications when exposed to a fire in the relevant fire scenario.
