Industrial valves - Additional requirements for metallic valves for CCUS applications cen:proj:84116

Scope

This document specifies requirements applicable to metallic industrial valves for CCUS applications. It includes additional recommendations and requirements applicable to material selection, design, manufacture and final evaluation.
It specifies the performance requirements and appropriate verification tests, carried out to demonstrate the conformity of the industrial valve with the specified requirements.
It applies to piping valves with a maximum allowable pressure (PS) greater than 20 bar.
It covers valves designed to operate in temperature ranges corresponding to the three following classes:
— from –20°C to +85°C;
— from –46°C to +85°C;
— the range specified for a particular design.
This document does not apply to control valves and safety valves.
