Scope

This document gives requirements and guidance for sensors used in residential ventilation for buildings. It covers the following aspects of the sensors:
- integration in DCV systems;
- implementation;
- configuration including location;
- functionality and availability;
- energy consumption and savings;
- acoustics;
- monitoring;
- limits (i.e. nominal flow and minimal flow);
- desing assessment and use;
- commissioning
This document does not apply to sensors used in non-residential ventilation.
