Circular economy – Quality classification for remanufacturing processes

Scope

This document specifies a quality classification for remanufacturing processes.
The specified remanufacturing processes apply horizontally and are not product specific. This
document thus defines expectations for remanufacturing processes, as well as the limits of those
expectations. Furthermore, this document defines the quantification of remanufacturing indicators
for products from remanufacturing processes and their transparent communication. In addition, this
document specifies used parts in terms of their intended use and properties in such a way that they
are not considered as waste
