Scope

The standard applies to natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilators (NSHEV) operating as part of smoke and heat exhaust systems (SHEVS), placed on the market. This standard gives test methods supporting the essential characteristics for natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilators.

Note: Maybe this standard will be a new part of the EN 12101 series or integrated in EN 12101-2 during the revision. That depends on the following steps.
