Scope

This document applies to seals of type diaphragm weld seal (as version M) PN 63 to PN 400 or Class 150 to Class 2500 and weld seal ring (as version S) PN 10 to PN 400 or Class 150 to Class 2 500 and the associated seal rings for flange connections PN 10 to PN 400 or Class 150 to Class 2 500 for flanges according to EN 1092- 1 and EN 1759-1.
This document specifies the design and dimensions of the seals and sealing rings.
NOTE 1 A detailed selection of materials for seals according to this standard is not part of the scope of this document, but general information on the selection of pre-material materials is noted.
NOTE 2 The dimensions of the flanges according to EN 1759-1-correspond to the dimensions for flanges according to ASME B16.5
