Scope

This standard applies for flange connections type 05, type 11, type 21 according to EN 1092-1 with sealing
lenses made of metal, which are generally used in systems with operating pressures above 63 bar, mainly in
pipelines.
This standard specifies the design and dimensions of sealing lenses and their sealing surfaces for DN 10 to
DN 200 and PN 63 to PN 400.
NOTE Materials for sealing lenses do not fall within the scope of this standard, but typical materials and their
hardnesses are listed in Annex B as instructions.
