Scope

This document specifies the requirements for the function, design, performance and testing of pressure gauges for railway applications.
The clamping mechanism is out of scope of this document.
This document applies to pressure gauges installed in driver's cab measuring pneumatic pressure above the atmospheric pressure.
It also can be applied to gauges installed in any other position inside rail vehicles.
