Scope

This document specifies the general structure for indoor environmental parameters in buildings (residential and non-residential) and how to establish these parameters for the design of buildings including technical building systems (except for lighting systems) and for the assessment of the energy performance of buildings.
This document takes into account, where appropriate, various building types, user profiles and boundary conditions. It includes the different categories of criteria for the indoor environment defined in the other sub parts (except for lighting systems).
This document describes the basic structure of the different parts.
