This document specifies the relevant parameters for the assessment of the energy performance of lighting in residential and non-residential buildings and for the energy demand calculation.
This document is applicable where the criteria for indoor environment are set by human occupancy.
This document does not specify design methods but gives input parameters for the assessment of the lighting systems including its control. The definition of the lighting design criteria and their classes are not part of this document. Emergency lighting is not within the scope of this standard.
