Scope

This document deals with the indoor environmental parameters relative to acoustics. This document includes design criteria for acoustic performance relative to air systems in buildings. This document does not specify design methods but gives input parameters for the design and operation of technical building systems including their controls that could cause noise.
Table 1 shows the relative position of this standard within the set of EPB standards in the context of the modular structure as set out in EN ISO 52000-1.
