This Technical Specification will describe a procedure for a continuous measurement method for the direct determination of nitrogen dioxide present in ambient air. The document will define the performance characteristics and set the relevant minimum criteria and test procedures required to select appropriate devices by means of type testing. It will also include an evaluation of the suitability of their use so as to meet the data quality objectives as specified in Annex I of Directive 2008/50/EC [1].
