Scope

This document specifies the additional characteristics and the level of requirements for ceramic tiles produced by extrusion and dry-pressing techniques, used for internal and/or external floorings (including stairs) and/or walls.
This document provides the terminology concerning the products, the classification and the reference to the relevant test methods applicable for ceramic tiles.
This document does not provide criteria or recommendations for the design and installation of ceramic tiles.
