CEN/TC 349 acknowledges the request to investigate the possibility to use a different method to define the design strength.
Proposal:
• Investigate different industries and areas using bonding/ adhesives to understand which design strength method or material safety factor they use
• Invite industry members to provide feedback on alternative approaches
