Scope

This document provides relevant characteristics for PC recyclates and is to be used in conjunction with part 1 of this series, that describes the designation system for plastic recyclates.

In the annexes for product families within this document:
- typical values are provided for the relevant characteristics for that product family, that are derived from the performance requirements for products, converting requirements and content requirements derived from product requirements for this product family;
- examples for designation for recyclates for this product family are given;

NOTE 1: This standard does not overlap with the CEN/TC 261 standard on collecting and sorting, of which the scope goes up to the entry of the recycling operating. This standard deals with the output of the recycling operation.
