Acoustics — Laboratory measurement of sound insulation of building elements — measurement of rolling sound insulation

Scope

This standard will specify the procedure to characterize building floor systems in laboratory in terms of structure borne rolling noise and define a reference rolling source. The standard will (i) specify laboratory measuring methods for determining data required for comparing products and materials and determining input data for predicting sound levels in building; (ii) define the expression of results.
