Scope

This document specifies a test method for the determination of settlement of blown loose-fill insulation applied in cavity walls and timber and steel framed walls. This test method measures the effects of vibration e.g. seismic, from underground/metro; However, there may be other factors, such as climate variation, which may influence a change in thickness. The test standard is limited to products after installation and excludes effects of vibration due to of transportation (of prefabricated elements).
