Scope

The document specifies a test method to assess the resistance to permeation of organic pollution through the wall of PE multilayer pipes. This test method consists of determining the permeation of model substances through the barrier layers.
It also specifies the evaluation of fitness for purpose of pipes for transport of water in polluted ground after bending.
It is applicable for PE multilayer barrier pipes with barrier layer made from polymer or aluminium.
