Scope

This European Standard specifies the performance criteria related to the health protection of people for backflow devices used for the water supply. The performance requirements are expressed in terms of effectiveness of backflow, flow or pressure drop and mechanical endurance. This standard includes and makes reference to the corresponding test methods and the evaluation of conformity of the product to this standard.
