Scope

This document specifies requirements for design and calculation of factory made thermal insulated bonded single and twin pipe systems of steel or plastic service pipes for buried cold water networks for continuous operation with treated water at various temperatures (1 to 30)°C and occasionally peak temperatures up to 34 °C for maximum 120 h/a, and a maximum operation pressure of 25 bar.
Flexible pipe systems are not under the scope of this standard.
