Scope

This document defines a method for the quantitative determination of methyl isothiazolinone, chloromethyl isothiazolinone and benzisothiazolinone in paints and polymer dispersions using liquid chromatographic analysis (HPLC).
The preservative contents are quantified by comparison with an external standard.
